Museums to receive R$ 2.8 million for preservation of assets

The Brazilian Institute of Museums (Ibram) has selected 28 initiatives aimed at preserving national heritage from museums around the country to receive R$ 100,000 each.
Proposals selected for investments include projects for accessibility, revitalisation of spaces, exhibitions, conservation of collections, database migration and production of inventories, for instance.
Winners include the Ema Gordom Klabin Cultural Foundation (SP), the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art (SP) and the Institute for Preservation and Dissemination of the History of Coffee and Immigration (SP).
