Football: Check out Brazil’s World Cup 2018 squad

This Sunday (17 June), Brazil enters the pitch at Arena Rostov in Russia to kick-off its journey for another World Cup. The tournament officially begins on Thursday (14 June) with a match between host country Russia and Saudi Arabia.

After 16 years without a title, Brazil is considered a favourite this year following a revamp under the helm of Tite after the 2014 World Cup.

Brazil's three matches during the Group Stage will be against Switzerland on 17 June (Sunday), Costa Rica on 22 June (Friday) and Serbia on 27 June (Wednesday).

Favourite

The Canarinho has worked hard to regain its credibility after the trauma of 2014, arriving in Russia as a favourite vying for the trophy. Since June 2016, when coach Tite took over the team, Brazil has played 21 matches and suffered only one defeat.
