Bid notice for concession of 13 airports should be published in September

A total of 13 Brazilian airports are expected to be offered under concession in an auction in the first half of December, according to the Ministry of Transport, Ports and Civil aviation. The studies for preparation of the bid notice are undergoing public consultation until 13 July, under coordination of the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), and the expectation is that the Federal Court of Auditors (TCU) will approve the text at some point in the third quarter of the year and the final bid notice will be published by the end of September.

Included in the prospective concessions package are airports in the Brazilian Northeast (Recife, Maceió, João Pesso, Aracajú, Juazeiro do Norte and Campina Grande). Midwest (Cuiabá, Sinop, Rondonópolis, Alta Floresta and Barra do Garças) and Southeast (Vitória and Macaé) geographic regions.
