Sancho voted world's second-best beach in 2018

The Fernando de Noronha beach once again stood out in the ranking of the most beautiful in the world. Local natural wonders and extreme sports draw tourists from around the world

For the fourth time, the Sancho Bay, in Fernando de Noronha (PE), featured on the ranking of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. The list, compiled from the users of travel website TripAdvisor, ranked Sancho second among the most beautiful beaches the world.

With sparkling blue waters, the beach is widely recognised for it incredible views and preserved landscape, in addition to being ideal for diving and surfing. During the tour of the Sancho Bay, tourists can also visit a viewpoint overlooking Dois Irmãos hill, one of the archipelago's most recognisable sights.

Sancho beach had already been voted the best in the world in 2017 by TripAdvisor users. The ranking is based on votes by travellers from around the world who have visited the locations in the last 12 months.
