In the wake of measures that helped reorganise the national economy, Brazil is once again investing and creating jobs and income for the population. According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), unemployment fell from 12.6% to 12% in the quarter ended in November.
In a statement, the IBGE highlighted that the drop represents a 4.1% decrease in the number of people unemployed in Brazil. The result was only possible after actions that brought stability to the economy and made it easier to conduct business in the country.
Measures such as the government expenditure ceiling, labour reform and others have helped increase the confidence of entrepreneurs to invest and, consequently, leading to more employment.
